My original question was:

>We have been experiencing lots of power failures. The problem is our
air >conditioning system stops working if we have a momentary power
outage. I have a >Sun 690 and a Sun 2000 both running Solaris 2.5 in
this computer room.

>Question: will the systems automatically and safely shutdown if the
temperature >gets too high? If so, what is too high?

The answer is, in a word NO. The Sun 690 and Sun 2000 do not have
temperature sensors. I have been told that the Ultra _does_ have these
sensors.
