Original post.
Ok, I did something real stupid. I just got a monitor for my Sparc 2,
(I had been using ttya) and I set the eeprom wrong.
I set it to
input-device=
output-device=
I think it should be
input-device=keyboard
output-device=screen
I have disconnected the keyboard and monitor (CG12 card still plugged
in) and on ttya I get
WARNING: Unable to determine keyboard type
and then it sits there. How can I get into diagnostic mode (If there
is one) so I can reset the eeprom? is there anyway to reset the eeprom?
If I plug a keyboard in I get
keyboard table for keyboard layout code 21
Using USA keyboard table..
and it sits there.
One other strange thing. It appears that the disk is not spinning up...
Could this be a problem?
Any help would be greatly apricated.
Thanks
Troy
I will summarize.

Looks like you need to press L1-N before you turn on the system. and
hold it for a few seconds until it beeps.
Also someone mentioned that L1 D gets you into diagnostic mode.
Thanks again for the quick responce.
