Yes its called namedroppers, though I can't remember the exact email
address for subscription (just do a search for this). People working on
future enhancements of bind regularly talk on the list.

Is there a mailing list that discusses DNS stuff?
.......................................................
There was a BIND list that talked about that specific name server.
That what you are looking for?

It used to be bind-users@vix.com (subscribe to bind-users-request@vix.com)
but it appears to have dried up. My posts to it don't go anywhere, and
email to owner-bind-users and bind-users-request are never returned...

Sure is. Take a look at the BIND home page,
http://www.vix.com/isc/bind/index.html, for more details. You should also
take a look at comp.protocols.dns.
