Original Question:

I know sunview has a dbxtool program, but I was wondering if there's a dbxtool for openwindows. And where can I locate it? For SunOS 4.1.3 and Solaris 2.5.(1).

Answers:

        For SunOS4.1.3:

I grabbed the dbxtool program from the OpenWindows version 2.0 cdrom which seems to work fine. The Openwindows 3.0 cdrom doesn't have dbxtool on it.

        For Solaris 2.x:

You must buy SparcWorks which comes with "debugger" (front end to dbx) and "dbx" programs. Just buying the SparcCompiler(s) will not get you these debugging programs.
