Based on the various response we got we changed our mind and decided to go
with something like:
Day | Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat
Dump Level | 9 9 9 0 9 9 9
Because:
- The disk is to big to do a level 0 each night;
- This configuration allowed to restore the files with only two tapes;
- It's better to do a level 0 on Wednesday because of all the holydays on
Monday.
- Since it was recomended, we figured out a way to do backups on week-ends
(the office is usually closed but if somebody as to work...)
- It simple, fast and effective.
