Hello,
thanks to all who answer me:

Fernando Frota Redigolo <fernando@caju.larc.usp.br>
clg@zygote.csph.psu.edu (Craig Gruneberg)

Fedor Gnuchev <qwe@ht.eimb.rssi.ru>

"P. Alejandro Lopez-Valencia" <alejo@curuba.colciencias.gov.co>
"Andrey A. Perminov" <and@mgul.ac.ru>

the question was:

> application SUNWsbuc Solstice Backup (Backup/Recover) Client
> application SUNWsbum Solstice Backup (Backup/Recover) Man

the solution seems to be :
run the ab_admin command

# /usr/openwin/bin/ab_admin -file /export/ab_cardcatalog -merge /opt/SUNWsbuab/ab_cardcatalog

where you need to substitute the path for your system wide
ab_cardcatalog file ( /export in the example ) and the path to the
answerbook ab_cardcatalog file you are not able to access in answerbook
( /opt/SUNWsbuab in the example ).

infortunatelly I didn't know where the original ab_cardcatalog was so
I couldn't try it

so the solution I find at the moment is to modify by hand the file:
/usr/openwin/bin/answerbook_setup adding my new "path"

Best regards
elena
