Whew! You guys are fast. Again, this list is the best.

Here is the question:
Can I run Solaris 4.x on a Sparcstation 20? I have a client that has a SunOs app and he wants to use a SS20. Can he do it?

-------------------------------
I have had over 20 responses in the last 2 hours. The overwhelming response that everyone gave is the same as I got from Russ Poffenberger who said ....

Yes, if it is a SuperSparc (model 41,51,61, or 71) will run SunOS 4.1.3_U1. The
Hypersparc (model HS11, 121, 151) will run SunOS 4.1.4.

Note that Sun says that SunOS 4.x is NOT supported for MP machines. Some people
have reported success (but withput the fine grained multi-threading that is
available in Solaris), others have reported reliability problems.

And thanks to Casper Dik who said...

SunOS 4.x runs on a SS20, (4.1.4 does), unless he has an SX framebuffer
which isn't supported under SunOS 4.1.x

Thanks to everyone who responded. I would be lost without you guys.
