The problem:
        I have a sparcstation 5 running solaris 2.4 + scads of patches,
        included the recommended ones.
        The machine is crashing daily with the following message:

                panic: mutex_adaptive_exit: mutex not owned by thread, \
                        lp fc370df8 owner e0000000 lock 0 waiters 0 \
                        curthread fc3ecda0

The fix:
Apply Ye Olde Jumbo Kernel patch 101945-36.
This bug is specifically mentioned in the README.
