My original inquiry:
Is there a Solaris command to hardware info down to number of
processors, size of memory, etc?
The answer: psrinfo (OK, I guess I gave up a little too soon ;^) )
Other helpful commands mentioned:
prtconf - prints system configuration info, processor output varies
by architecture
dmesg - may or may not still have bootup info, depending on whether
its been written over already
sysconf(3c) - library function to return that info
sysinfo - public domain package
sysdef
wsinfo
/usr/kvm/prtdiag - sun4d arch
vmstat
sar
mpstat
drvconf
Many thanks to all who responded, too many to list.
