SUMMARY: Any way to add mail attachments via the command line?

Thanks all... got 3 responses in this short time, 1 what I needed.

/usr/ucb/mail -s "Subject goes here" email_address < filename
but that does not create an attachment.

The answer came from Carl Meske from Sun he has a bourne shell utility
that creates attachments from the command line. Don't know if Carl wanted this generally distributed so I did not include it.
