SUMMARY: Using 2 451s + Sun-3 SCSI in 4/260 ?

urf. Turns out that one of the two MultiBus to VME adapter DIP settings
was not set to be xyc1 on the 2nd controller, and it was halfway working
(enough for the kernel to see it as xyc1, but data transfers on the bus
were hosed.)

I got sidetracked because the FE manuals describe configurations in
relation to the Sun-3 SCSI card, but it is ambiguous as to what it is
referring to. It appears that it is referring to how many 451s you can
use in relation to also using 7053s along with the SCSI card, and not how
many 451s and/or 7053s you can use with the SCSI-3 card. (i have no 7053s
in the system, so i can use the max 2 451s w/o restriction to the SCSI
card)

Thanks,

Thanks to:
dan@bellcore.com correctly suggested VME/Mbus adapter error
I'd already found it when getting ready to replace the second
controller card with another and was double-checking
tommy@big.att.com has working similar configuration
louis@meg.saic.com suggested /vmunix config problem
