My original question:
>I am running Solaris 2.3 on a Sparc10 Model 51. I installed patch 101318-42.
>After installing the patch, /usr/bin/truss no longer works. When you enter the
>command, there is no response. You can enter cntl-c and the prompt returns but
>there is no output from truss.
>Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there a fix for this problem other than
>not installing 101318-42?
I received several responses with the same answer, 101318-42 breaks truss. The
solution is to go back to 101318-41 or go forward to 101318-43 which has been
released in the last couple of days. Also 101318-45 will apparently be released
soon so you may want to wait for it.
Several people who responded said they had opened calls with Sun on the problem.
