SUMMARY: Solaris 2.3 tftpd problems

My original question, edited:

Me> I'm having a problem with the Solaris 2.3 tftpd: it will not accept
Me> filename specifiers with a leading slash.

The solution was to get patch 101560-01, which completely solves the
problem. Other solutions were suggested, mostly linking /tftpboot to
itself or something of the sort that was required under SunOS 4 but not
under Solaris 2.

One good suggestion was to not use tftp as a file service protocol, and
instead use NFS. This is, of course, a great idea and I do it with the
terminals that support it. The terminals in question, however, are HDS
terminals and do not seem to support that feature.
