Try patch 100564-05, it is the C2 "jumbo" patch.

I've seen this b4 on my machine....I think I removed the auditd thingy from running during rc.local .... my machine was OK after that. > > I've just installed C2 and it converts the password files just > fine. I've just installed C2 and it converts the password files just fine. But it still allows root access from the login prompt and it only allows 1 login. What I mean by 1 login is that, this is a single user standalone, when the first user logs in after a boot or a reset there is no problem, but when the subsequent user logs in they do not get a prompt. They cvant even exit their account and if I try to su to root from the first account the same thing happens. Do I need some sort of patch? Is there a patch? But if I boot up single user mode it does ask for a password. And when I run C2unconv everything works fine.

Stats: SS1+ non-networked standalone. sunos4.1.3_U1 (Solaris 1.1.1b)

Hello,

try kill the audit daemon "auditd", then make sure the subdirectory tree under /etc/security is built as described in manual, then try invoke auditd bye "audit" command. That's what I did and it happened to work.
