I still get the message:
/dev/rst1: no tape loaded or drive offline
with an HP 35450A connected to 4.1.2 with the known patch to st_conf.c.
Since this problem seems to be due to the switch set,
can anybody explain what switch mask is using with this driver.
Stewart suggest to use:
dip switches 1-5 on, 6-8 off.
but unfortunatly 35450A has only four switches, and the last three seems to be used for the SCSI id setting.
Anybody can help?
