I got threee different answers: indicates he had exactly the same problem. Sun told them to install the patch 101406. This patch doesn't mention anything about this problem, but it have solved it! suggest to boot with kadb and get a stack trace the next time the system crash. It looks like a driver bug (see mutex(9f)) related to threads. Having already applied the suggested patch, I did not got the chance to test that possibility. told me he had the same problem... and Sun replaced the hardware! They replaced the motherboard and the CPU module...
