Oh dear....
More than twenty responses during the weekend! (+ one fax)
The overall opinion seems to be that a serial PC-mouse will not work on a Sun.
(we actually disassembled one of the optical ones, just to find that it uses
four wires, two of them probably power & ground, the other two carries both
the x-y information + the buttons)
However, SunExpress has a mechanical, 3-button mouse which they sell for $59!
Unfortunatly, there's no SunExpress here in Sweden... :(
My local Sun sales.rep says he thinks they have an office in UK, so I guess
I'll have to try to find them.
