In an earlier article, I described the problem we were having:
>We are having problems ftp'ing files. Transferring files to any other
>machine other than on our internal lan gets truncated. However bringing
>files back is ok.
>
>The interesting thing is it takes ages to transfer from local machine,
>(when I transfer to my local machine (using put) it only takes
>10-15 seconds), and it always only transfer 19456 bytes in the same amount
>of time. I suspect it could be a timeout somewhere, but I have looked at
>the obvious things and I cannot see it.

>[ various parts of article deleted ..]

Thanks to all who replied and offered suggestions. It turned out that
resetting the cisco seems to have fixed the problem. I was reluctant to
reset it as there were other sites connected to it, and they were not
having the problem we were.

Thanks once again.
