PROBLEM:
Machine: Sparc 1+, 4.1.2, Newsprint 1.0
I say "lpr /etc/motd", and the job fails. The log file says:

SOLUTION:
Due to an NFS mounting error, the computer was using Newsprint 1.0
but the "small_openwin" for Newsprint 2.0. Thanks to Long T. Truong
and Peter Samuel for suggesting the solution.
