A couple of days back, I posted a message saying that I'm not able to
telnet to Vax from our new IPC using cmdtool. Below is a summary of the
responses I received.
* Can telnet to Vax, from both cmdtool and shelltool as long as the
scrollbar is disabled. Cmdtool is not vt100 compatible.
A few suggested setting TERM=vt100, setenv TERM vt100 , TERM=sun .......
But none of those worked.
Other suggestions were:
* Use xterm window to telnet since it emulates vt100.
* Use other vt100 or vt320 emulators like -
* crttool - public-domain utility
* Sun's TE100 or TE320 products.
