Thanks for the many people that responded -- almost all replys (and
there were a ton) pointed me in the correct direction! For some
change reason the boot block had been trashed. I booted of a diskless
client and reran install_boot. Bruce Orchard of our Computer
Automated Engineering center was nice enough to come in on a Sunday
and help out (Thanks Bruce).
Any ideas how this happened? I remade the kernals but I didn't
touch the /boot file. Also -- is there a way to make a boot
floppy/tape? I can't get to the media on the weekends.
