SUMMARY: Can anyone even THINK of a reason for this???

Current best theory is we blew a fuse related to internal scsi
terminator power while swapping disks around. We're checking it out,
but I'll try and head off the next 100 suggestions that this is what
to look at. Thanks all! That's not a complaint, it's the right
suggestion, hadn't occurred to me.
