SUMMARY: ifconfig:ioctl (SIOCGIFFLAGS) boot error??

Here is the summary on this topic:

1) Some told that there may be a reference to a wrong interface in
the /etc/rc* scripts, that is `ifconfig' with an unexisting interface.

2) Others told me to check out /etc/hostname.* (where '*' must represent an
existing interface, not other names (le0, le1,..)

The problem on our SS2 was a file called `/etc/hostname.keep' that some
previous false system guru created..

I want to give thanks to all people that `replyed' my posting..
