RE-SUMMARY: group size limited to 1024 characters

This is a ^ summary regarding a limit of 1024 characters to the group file.

There seems to be several problems related to this issue:

1. vi limits the length of a line to 1024 characters.
                                     a single group in
2. There is a limit of 1024 characters to ^ the group file. (SUN bug #1050629)

3. If you're using NIS, there is a dbm limit of 1024 entries/key when
   using makedbm. (SUN bug #10359917)

I checked with SUN about both of these bugs and there are no fixes.

Most respondents work around this problem by creating several groups
with the same GID.
