SUMMARY: Adaptec SCSI card doesn't see my tape drive on Ultra10

Looks like the answer is that the Adaptec pc hba's aren't recognized by
SPARC boxes only x86 so I will install Solaris on one of my x86 machines
and give it a try.

Below is my original question

I have an Adaptec AHA-2944UW pci card in an Ultra 10 running Solaris 9.
I have an Exabyte 220 Jukebox attached to it.
The host is not seeing the Jukebox with probe-scsi-all. I did a boot -r
and that didn't help.

I was under the impression that the AHA-2944UW was supported on Solaris
does anybody have one working?

I called Adaptec and they don't have a driver for it for Solaris.

According to Sun's website it says

The following Adaptec Ultra SCSI devices are now supported by the adp
driver and not the cadp driver.

        AHA-2940AU

        AHA-2940U

        AHA-2940U Dual

        AHA-2940UW

        AHA-2940UW Dual

        AHA-2944UW

        AHA-3940AU

        AHA-3940AUW

        AHA-3940AUWD

        AHA-3940U

        AHA-3940UW

Is there anything I can do to get this card recognized by my host?

Thank You.
