SUMMARY: panic[cpu0]/thread=300130ef2a0: ufs_putapage: bn == UFS_HOLE

From: S. Loewenthal <sloewenthal_at_gemini.edu>
Date: Thu Nov 17 2005 - 09:27:06 EST
Dear all,

After many useful replies I concluded that the UFS hole was simply the
system shutting down too quickly and not giving itself enough time to
write back to the disc.

The faulty power supply was replaced and the error message

SC Alert: PSU @ PS0 has FAULTED,

disappeared. Before this happened the system was FSCKed without any
major problems.
We didn't replace the CPU as some people suggested.

Thanks to everyone who replied, and thanks to this mailing list in
general for being there.

Simon.
