SUMMARY: Sun Cluster e-mail notification for alerts

Hi folks,

The summary for my query below.
SunCluster needs SunMC add-on for alert notification.SunMC is another piece of software running on another machine, the SunMC for
SunCluster agent need to be planted in both cluster nodes in order to send alert.

Currently, the roadmap for SunCluster to include Alert Notification agent is UNKNOW.

Just wondering, how other manage notification other than SunMC ?

I would like to check is Sun Cluster provides any Data Service to send SMTP e-mail notifiation out if a Resource Group failover to
another node ?
Setup environment SC3.1 U4 with Solaris 9 Sparc

I know Veritas cluster has Notificaton bundle agent come free to send SMTP alert out if a Service Group failover. But how about Sun
CLuster ?
