Thanks to all of you for your fast replies....
It's a bad day for me because all of you have answered that when we lost
more than one disk without hotspare, the RAID5 becomes unusable...
So i'll know that for the next time, we should always sacrifice one disk
to be configured as hotspare...

Bye

         Hi,

I've a raid5 diskgroup made of 8 18Gb physical disks. I've 2 disks that
went down. So I removed them for the raid diskgroup.
You can see that with this 'vxprint' output :

Disk group: raid5dg

But now, I can't manage to bring the volume up.

root@rogue# vxvol resync data_03
vxvm:vxvol: ERROR: Volume data_03 is not started
root@rogue# vxvol start data_03
vxvm:vxvol: ERROR: Volume data_03 is not startable; Raid5 plex does not
map the entire volume length

Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance. Best regards.
