Well it was incompatible weblogic module that caused the problem. I got
updated module from WebLogic ( that worked for me.

My Original question was:

Hi Gurus,

Recently I switched from Apache 1.3 to Apache 2.0 on Solaris 8. We are
running WebLogic Plugin module After upgardin to Apche 2.0 I
compiled the mod_wl.s0 module with Apche 2.0 apxs as below:

# Perl apxs -i -a -n weblogic

It gave me following output:

/opt/apache/build/ SH_LIBTOOL='/opt/apache/build/libtool' /opt/apache/modules

/opt/apache/build/libtool --mode=install cp

cp /opt/apache/modules/

Warning! dlname not found in /opt/apache/modules/

Assuming installing a .so rather than a libtool archive.

chmod 755 /opt/apache/modules/

[activating module `weblogic' in /opt/apache/conf/httpd.conf]

and added following line to httpd.conf file.

LoadModule weblogic_module modules/

Now when I start the Apche it gives me following error:

Syntax error on line 275 of /opt/apache/conf/httpd.conf:

Cannot load /opt/apache/modules/ into server:
/opt/apache/bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file
/opt/apache/modules/ symbol ap_make_table: referenced symbol
not found

The same process worked fine on Apache 1.3 but now Apache 2.0 doesn't
start at all.

Any Help/pointer will be greatly appreciated.
