[SUMMARY]: question about new disks

I messed up the question pretty good in that I wasn't questing the labeling,
but rather the device files. I wasn't clear on that, and I apologize.
Fortunately, several people picked up on that, and still answered my
question :-)

Bottom line was that the device files were normal. This is expected from
SAN attached storage. Also, the fact that I only have 4 disks showing (I
configured the 4 disks across both channels - dual linked), was because of
mpxio being configured. So, each disk listed is actually a pseudo device
which points to both physical disks.

Thanks to everyone who answered - there were way too many to mention.

		Subject: question about new disks

This is probably a stupid question, but here goes.

I'm adding disks to a solaris system for the first time
(solaris 9). These are fibre attached disks from my SAN. After doing a
reconfiguration boot, it complained that the disks were corrupt, so I did a
format label.

I see these disks as follows:

		AVAILABLE DISK SELECTIONS:
		       0. c1t0d0 <SUN72G cyl 14087 alt 2 hd 24 sec 424>

Disks in question are 2-5. Does this seem right?
