SUMMARY: iostat reports Transport Errors

The problem seems to have been a faulty disk, (not a faulty bus) and that 
seems to have caused hard errors on the other two devices which have since 
worked fine (subsequent to the faulty disk being replaced.)

Special thanks to the 15 plonkers who's Microsoft Exchange servers send 'Out 
of office AutoReply' to list mail. You know what: WE DON'T CARE THAT YOU'RE ON 
HOLIDAY! And to the guy signed up with the stupid anti-spam service that also 
cannot distinguish list mail from personal mail: get yourself another service 
provider who knows something about e-mail.
