Thanks for the many replies. For those interested, the most popular answer
w/ a few variations was:

Create a file (i.e. /tmp/abc)
/tmp/abc should contain the following:

mail=
instance=unique
partial=quit
runlevel=nocheck
idepend=quit
rdepend=ask
space=quit
setuid=nocheck
conflict=nocheck
action=nocheck
basedir=default

Then:

# pkgadd -a /tmp/acb -d /cdrom/cdrom0 all
