Hi agn,

got only one response so far, from Hichael Morton, who pointed me to sun's
hcl. Thanks, I'll check it out!
Hichael also gave me the hint to put the ADR on a seperate IDE-chain, and
(of course) do a reconfig boot after adding the drive.
Hm, seems no-one did this before, so I'm again a pioneer, .-)
No problem, I'll try it - and inform the list abt. success or failure.

Thanks to Hichael,

have a nice hackin',

Harald

Betreff: Using OnStream ADR in a Blade100

Hi managers,

I have to backup some data, and have an ONSTREAM ADR 30 (30 GB,
IDE-Interface) laying around...
I'd like to use it in a SUN Blade 100 (running Solaris 8), since the SUN has
an IDE-Interface, it should work. But, before I disassemble my Blade: Anyone
made experiences with this? The ADR runs perfectly well under LINUX , but I
didn't find anything abt. using the drive with Solaris...

Thanks in advance, will summarize,

Harald
