Keep the SUNWpl* packages - install other perl to a separate location. Link to

Thanks to Michael Cunningham, Ray McCaffity, Rick Kulawiec and Chris Price for
responding to the post. As I feared, there is no DBI binary. We've got a few
issues and I think the best course is to consider Chris Price's suggestion,
below:

"Uninstall the Solaris shipped Perl (SUNWpl* packages) and download/install
the www.sunfreeware.com packages for gcc (2.95 is safe) and perl 5.8.x."
