It appears I had the right command, just the wrong argument and I didn't 
understand the output.

/usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdiag -v

gives me the info I requested and thanks to Frank Smith who pointed out that 
the 'revision level' of the cpu is the 'mask' column of the cpu info from  
prtdiag.  There could be other rev levels of modules, boards, etc., so 
verify with your rep what (s)he is really asking for.

Greetings All,
I just got a call from my Sun sales rep asking me for the CPU revision
levels on an E10K frame we have running here.  The Sun admins are all on 
vacation and I am an HP-UX guy.  :(

I need the command for finding this information....I thought it was:


I ran this but it didn't give me any "revision" levels....

Not sure but we are running Solaris 8 and I could use some help, thanks and
