Here is my original question:
Hello:
Can the file /etc/path_to_inst be recreated if needed from command line or
"Ok>" prompt?

TIA,
vinnie german

Here is the answer from Darren Dunham [ddunham@taos.com]
which I really like the most.

>From the OK> prompt, do a 'boot -a'

Accept the default for all questions except the path_to_inst file. When
you get to that one, specify '/dev/null'.

It should then prompt you if you want to create a new /etc/path_to_inst
file from scratch. Say yes.

I have to tell I have not lost the file -just need it to see how it will
work. Thanks again, Vinnie.
