folks

i had an E250 which reported the driver for the console framebuffer was
missing. my original post is included at the bottom of this email. the
solution was to load the Raptor GFX graphics driver and patches for Solaris
2.6. the engineers currently using E250 did not know anything about the
machine. when i told them they needed a driver, they were able to produce
the cd for the Raptor GFX card. the patches were easily downloaded from
SunSolve.

i'd like to thank the folks who responded to my post:

cathy
