Summary :: Compile-time Question

OK. I have got it figured out.

One suggestion was to move the Sun assembler (/usr/ccs/bin/as) and make the
GNU assembler called first in the PATH. However, I searched for a second
copy of the as binary and didnt find one. I also searched for 'gas', for GNU
assembler, and that did not work either.

What I did do to get this to work was go back to GNUgcc 2.95, and things
worked fine. I guess with GNUgcc 3.01 you need an updated assembler, cause
it calls sub-routines that aren't in 2.95.

This is how I fixed the problem. If anyone knows how to get the updated GNU
assembler, I would appreciate it. Thanks for all of your help!
