Hi, all

through some research on internet, I've gotten that local-mac-address?
doesn't affect all kind of NIC. so I will configure it manually with "
ifconfig
hme0 ether 8:0:20:dd:ee:dd:ff" or something.

thanks Richard Cove for his kindly answer.

================
Hi, everyone

recently I set "local-mac-address?=true" on one of my E3500
server . But I can still see same MAC address on the four NIC
of this server from the "ifconfig -a" command.

Even I watched the MAC address throught "arp -a" from local or
another server , I've gotten the same answer.

Note: this server has been rebooted for several times.

My OS: Solaris 7 with patch level 106541-12.

Is there any Bug report ?
