SUMMARY - Imap timeouts

I need to determine if this is a Sun configuration problem:

I have an Enterprise 450 running Solaris 2.7 and SUNWimap (version 4).
I have a number of Windows 2000 PCs connecting to my E450 to read
mail via IMAP. But the only person logged in and running Outlook2000 keeps
getting kicked out of IMAP every 10 minutes or so. Also, his IMAP process
doesn't seem to kill properly and fires up a process every 10 minutes.

Thoughts? I've checked all the FAQs and tech reports but I haven't
gotten any further. The user seems to think it is a Sun configuration
problem. Thanks and I'll summarize.

******** ANSWER:
The problem was not on the Sun side (but I will give the answer just
for future reference in case anyone else has a problem). The problem is
Outlook. We unchecked "Include this account when receiving mail or
synchronizing" and "Check for new messages in all folders" in the Outlook
properties. This seems to have stopped the multiple Sun processes and from
getting kicked out of Outlook.
