Thanks to all who replied, they were so many.
The answer arrived in 2 minutes.
The onboard of the E420R box has a single-ended SCSI
and the D1000 StorEdge has differential SCSI.
I reconnected the D1000 on a differential PCI SCSI on the E420R
and rebooted/reconfigured with "boot -r".
After reboot everything was in its place, the D100 was there up and
running.
Once again this is a great list, thank you everyone.

Hello,
We've got 2 new E420R Servers.
Each of them has a D1000 StorEdge with 4 disks inside of each D1000 box.
There are 2 internal disks in each E420R server.
I connected the D1000 box to the SCSI connector at the rear of the
mainboard
of the E420R.
However, I cannot see the 4 disks inside the D1000.
Format shows me only the 2 internal disks:

I did :
# touch /reconfigure
and rebooted the system, but nothing more.
The /dev/dsk directory however has device files for 3 disks:
c0t0d0, c0t1d0 and c0t6d0 instead of 6 disks (2 internal and 4
external
inside the D1000).
