Thanks a lot for the many responses, all of them suggested this:

# xhost + 'hostname'
and that solved my problem. I was running Netscape as root on the console
and some also suggested that this is a security hole and recommended to run
Netscape as a regular user. This was the original response:

Dear list,
> I just installed Netscape 4.51 on an E 450 running Solaris 7. When I tried
> to execute Netscape I get:
> xlib : connect to ":0.0" refused by server
> xlib : client is not authorized to connect to server
> Error: can't open display :0.0
> Is this a problem with Netscape or Solaris? What am I missing? Thanks
