Thanks! everyone who responded to my question below.

The answer to my problem was to move some small files out of the file
system to make some space at lease 5% free, which I did and then I was
able to increase more space to the file system using veritas.

Thanks,

attached mail follows:

Hello everyone,

I have a vxfs Veritas file system (V3.3.3) running on Solaris 2.6
system.
When a file system (example below) is 100% with 0 byte available, it
won't allow
me to increase the size of file system, but it allow me to increase the
volume sise:

/dev/vx/dsk/rootdg/vol10 3145728 3145728 0 100% /u01

Have anyone seen this before? any work around it?

Thanks in advanced....

-Pat
