thanks for the 26 respondents. the solutions are
to apply a permanent license or back date the
system's date.

Subject: Vertias Volume Manager

Dear Sun Managers,

If my temporary license for my Vertias Volume Manager
3.0.3 running on Solaris 2.6 expired , what would be
the consequence and will the system still be able to
bootup? I had encountered one problem that system
unable to bootup giving error can't state......
can't open device /dev/vx/dsk/var.....
fsck don't help. The worst thing is I've no
backup. Is urgent? how can I bring up the
system? TIA

Starfire
