Thanks to Casper Dick with his response "yes, all configurations should
support that."

-----Original Message-----
Can Ultra10 (300MHz, Sol2.6) with OpenBoot 3.11 handle 1GB of memory?

I installed 1GB of memory and Ultra10 recognized it at the OK prompt.

I am getting these messages and machine crashes:

panic[cpu0]/thread=0x3002fe80: Async data error at tl1: AFAR
0x00000000.27ef0058
 AFSR 0x000006c9.80300000

erro
r at tl1: AFAR 0x00000000.27ef0058 AFSR 0x000006c9.80300000

 ./memconf shows:
Sun Ultra 5/10 UPA/PCI (UltraSPARC-IIi 300MHz) (Ultra 10)
socket DIMM1 has a 256MB DIMM
socket DIMM2 has a 256MB DIMM
socket DIMM3 has a 256MB DIMM
socket DIMM4 has a 256MB DIMM
empty sockets: None
total memory = 1024MB (1GB)

I am now going to re-seat the modules. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance. I
will summarize.
