Original post:
I am going to be moving the NIS+ master to a new server and need to move all
the necessary files, however I'm not sure the best way to do this. Does
anyone have any suggestions?

Solution: Well, it is all contained in the SunSolve pages, namely #21287,
#11742, and #11988. The basic steps are to use nisaddent -d to dump the
NIS+ information to text files, transfer them to the new server, and then
use nispopulate to add the info back in. Hopefully, it goes as smoothly as
that.

Thanks again,
