Response 1:

I believe that you'll find that the second "netsacpe" process (which never
accumulates CPU time) is actually there just to monitor the other one.
If the actual browser process ever dies with a Segmentation Violation
or Bus Error, the monitoring process will note that and give you a
chance to let Netscape know of the problem and what you were doing that
might have caused it.

Don't worry that's the way it should be probably working.The same thing
happens at my x86 SUN box using Netscape 4.51 .2 processes under
string occure but one netscape window is visible.Probably the second
process handles DNS issues ,mail check etc...
