SUMMARY: wacky NFS problems

I know most of you haven't even gotten my email at this point, but I
managed to figure it out.

Turns out /usr/sbin/rpcbind was a zero length file, and the RPC problems
were causing the NFS problems.

Thanks to Jason Rouse who correctly ID'd the problem, even though I had
already stumbled across it :)

Now, a bigger issue, which I would appreciate opinions on via private
email... why/how could this binary have gotten zeroed out? I don't
suspect a hack, since if I were going to hack in, rpcbind would not be
my first target.

I know the long term solution is better security and binary checking
(like tripwire), we just haven't gotten there yet :)

Thanks again. This list is number one on my list of technical resources
on the net, and I wish there was an equivalent list for everything!
