Thanks for all the quick responses:

I added more swap space and the system was fine.

One of the many quick responses:

Hello,

>We have a SUN Sparc Clasic running Solaris 2.5.1.
>On the execution of the http startup script, I received the following error:
>ld.so.1: ./ns-httpd: fatal: ./ns-httpd.so: can't set protections on segment:
errno=11
>Killed

% grep 11 /usr/include/sys/errno.h
#define EAGAIN 11 /* Resource temporarily unavailable */

Looks like you ran out of resources. Fire up less ns-httpd
processes and also stop the system processes you don't need to run from
starting up. E.g. keyserv, kerbd, automountd, nfs if you aren't using
it. After that add more memory if you can, plus more swap.

ORIGINAL QUESTION::

Hello all!

We have a SUN Sparc Clasic running Solaris 2.5.1.

On the execution of the http startup script, I received the following error:

ld.so.1: ./ns-httpd: fatal: ./ns-httpd.so: can't set protections on segment: err
no=11
Killed

Any ideas!

I'll summarize

Thanks

Harry
