thank you all very much again for your help, hints and mails!
Our problem here was that we saw duplicate MAC- and IP-addresses
in the /var/adm/messages of several different machines - those machines
each "moaning" about some other machine using it's own addresses...
At the moment we did not see those entries in our messages-files
any longer (for 2 days now) and the only "thing" we did/found/changed
was:
-> a duplicate alias in NIS/networks each pointing to a different
network :(
Now that we changed this back to uniqueness(?) again those messages (and
hopefully the pakets itself too) have vanished...
